Nancy and Nick had a gorgeous wedding at the Mission Inn Resort in Florida with gold confetti everywhere! Brides & Weddings recently interviewed the bride to get some details on her wedding day!
December 2009 I was living in Indiana and was going to move to Florida so I wanted to add a few people on Facebook from Orlando to make friends. One of the people I added was Nick, he accepted my request but we never spoke after that. I didn't even know he had accepted my request. One day, (a year later I posted something about Zumba classes and he commented on my post and we started talking after that. He said I love you on the 3rd date!! I knew he was the one for me after that. He's an amazing human being and he just completes me.
On July 3, 2015 we got engaged! His family and my family all live out of state but he got them all together for dinner and proposed after an amazing speech. He proposed at Panullos in winter park, where we had our first date.
I chose a dress from a boutique - Calvet Cotoure, the gown I chose was a mermaid style gown ( Legends-Ramona Keveza) When I tried the gown it fit like a glove! It needed a few alterations, but it was perfect. From the length to the color. I didn't even look at the price. That was the dress i wanted and the dress I was going to have.
The first dance was magical and emotional at the same time! We danced to Edshereen – thinking out loud. My husband singing the song to me the whole time.
Brides & Weddings: Do you have any advice for future brides?
ENJOY EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!! The day went by so fast I wish I could hit rewind to re-live it over and over again. Also get a videographer!!! !! I thank our videographer (The Richards) for capturing every moment of it on video, and our photographer as well. (Tabitha).
