Industrial Warehouse Wedding | Real Weddings

Planning a wedding from across the country is no easy task, but Shani & Blake managed to do a great job. Starting with their choice in venue. A So-Ho lofty feeling old warehouse transformed into a wedding ceremony and reception site in Fairfield County Connecticut called The Loading Dock - an Abigail Kirsch Catering venue. Here are some details from the bride:

My aunt and Blake's mom are coworkers/friends and have worked together for over 10 years. My aunt sent me a private message on Facebook, saying she had a guy in mind for me and asked if I wanted to meet Blake? He was living in San Francisco at the time and came to NY to visit family. While he was visiting (which was in August 2014) we met up for dinner at a restaurant called Friend of a Farmer in Gramercy. After our date, Blake went back home to SF but we kept in touch and continued seeing each other for a little over a year before I moved out West for him. We knew it was meant to be on our first ski trip to Windham together that December after we had met.
